My Friend

I have a friend that will be moving soon. I really hate thinking about it. I will sorely miss her. She accepts me for who I am and pushes me to my limits without making me feel bad about myself. She understands me and all of my little quirks. She has introduced me to a side of the world (the fancy side) that I thought I would never be a part of. I remember the first time I met her. She was painting in her room. We were both at new teacher orientation and she would not let me sit by myself. She made me come sit with all the new teachers at my school. She also had my oldest in her class. She brought her out of her shell as she has with me. And her family has let me into their lives and they have become like an extended family. Sarah, I will miss you!

The weekend can't come fast enough!

I am so ready for the weekend. Grades are due this week and it is always hectic trying to get all of the grades done and recorded. Usually, your kids will not let you work and as hard as you try, you get nothing accomplished. At least tomorrow the kids won't be there and I can get some work done. I am so tired of the kids not doing their work. I tore into them today about it. They don't really understand how bad it is. AHHHHH!!!!!! AND.......testing is just around the corner. what fun! Well, yall have a good day tomorrow.

Monday, Monday

Boy today is Monday. I am so tired. My legs hurt today. I am not used to walking so much since I haven't been able to walk much. I had a good day today, though. My kids were not bad today in class. I have some papers to grade, :-(

It is also a sad day. My oldest daughter is only a few inches shorter than me. Pretty soon, I will be looking up at my baby. I realized yesterday that I still haven't grown up!! Man, she makes me feel short.

Well, I need to get to dinner. Later!
